CCI-COAD Meeting Registration

Help strengthen how Coles County communicates before, during, and after disasters.

Event Canceled

The CCI-COAD Communications Coordination Meeting originally scheduled for Monday, July 27, has been canceled.

Due to the immediate need to focus on long-term disaster recovery planning, this meeting has been replaced by a CCI-COAD Steering Committee meeting to discuss the formation of the Long-Term Recovery Committee (LTRC).

The Communications Coordination Meeting will be rescheduled for a future date, and we look forward to your participation when the new meeting is announced.

About This Meeting

The next CCI-COAD topical meeting will focus specifically on Communications — one of the most critical pieces of any disaster response.

This meeting is open to organizations, businesses, nonprofits, churches, volunteer groups, healthcare organizations, schools, public agencies, media representatives, radio communications groups, technology specialists, and anyone involved in communication or information-sharing during emergencies.

What We Will Discuss

  • How organizations communicate during emergencies
  • Where communication gaps currently exist
  • What backup systems are available if phones, internet, or power fail
  • How organizations can share information faster during crises
  • How organizations can reduce duplication, delays, and wasted effort

Registration helps us plan for attendance, prepare materials, and follow up with participants. It also helps CCI-COAD continue building a stronger countywide network of organizations and resources.
